For women residents of Monroe and Genesee counties who:

Are returning to school after being out of school for a period of time (examples include: being out of school to raise a family, entering the workforce before completing a degree or attaining your education goals, or needing to attend or return to school to regain economic independence or to reenter the workforce or the community).
Are attending a Monroe or Genesee County college full or part-time.
Have financial need.

Preference is given to women who have been active in the community, especially in activities of special relevance to women.
The committee will take in to consideration academic merit and progress towards degree completion.
